This is a group of volunteers who help to clean St. Alphonsus Church. They work in 4 teams. Each team gets one week per month. The volunteers usually work after the 8 AM Mass on Friday, but anyone can help whenever their schedule allows. Volunteers are very much needed! Please consider joining. This is a group of parishioners who raise money for the parish by selling pierogies. They usually start making them in early February. You may purchase frozen pierogies at St. Ann year round. For more info., contact Pat Fratini at 724-796-1308.
The Garden Ministry is an active group of parishioners who love to get out and worship God through nature. The group’s mission is to beautify the church grounds and cemetery. They strive to enable parishioners to enjoy the Lord’s seasonal blessings and to make the church's property a visual statement of our gratitude for His gifts of nature. They plan, plant and maintain gardens and landscaped areas, including the Prayer Garden at St. Columbkille. Their work is year-round, although the fruits of their efforts are most visible during the western Pennsylvania growing season. Pastoral Council is a body of parishioners who work with the pastor in setting goals and vision for the parish, and act as liaison between members of the parish family and the clergy.
Finance Council is a consultative body established under Diocesan guidelines to advise and assist the pastor on matters pertaining to the financial administration of the parish.
