When Jesus called His first disciples, He simply said, “Come…and you will see” (John 1:39).
It was an invitation not only to follow Him but also to witness the wonders of God’s love in
action. At Saint Isidore the Farmer Parish, we continue to respond to that same invitation, drawing closer to Christ and sharing His love with our neighbors and the world.
     Our parish, like the first disciples, is called to bring the love of Jesus to life through our actions,
prayers, and service. We do this not only within our own parish but also through the broader
work of the Church. One important way we answer this call is through the Annual Parish Appeal.
The Annual Parish Appeal supports vital ministries of the Diocese of Pittsburgh that extend
beyond the reach of any single parish. It enables the formation of future priests and deacons;
supports Catholic chaplains who bring comfort to those in hospitals, nursing homes, and
colleges; and provides essential resources for religious education in our parishes and schools.
These services, along with many others, are crucial to sustaining the mission of Saint Isidore the Farmer Parish and the entire Church of Pittsburgh.
     I wish that everyone who reads this website posting would be able to “Come and See” what takes place daily in our parish that is supported by the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Your support of Parish
Appeal helps us to be Saint Isidore the Farmer Parish.
     The reason we give is rooted in our love for God and our desire to answer His call to “Come
and See.” By supporting the mission of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, we are helping our own
parish and participating in the broader work of the Church, bringing Christ’s love to all who need
it.  Please prayerfully consider how God is calling you to respond to this year’s Appeal. On March 1st and 2nd, we will join with parishes across the diocese for Commitment Weekend, inviting everyone to make a financial commitment to the Annual Parish Appeal.
